On January 21, 2001 Billy Thompson was commissioned by Bishop Isaiah S. Williams Jr., as the Senior Pastor of the Jesus People Proclaim International Church in Boca Raton Florida. The church has a diverse and progressively growing membership where he and his wife Prophet Cynthia Thompson, serve the communities that encompass the Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Pastor Thompson has been a frequent guest on the national and host of the local Trinity Broadcast Network “Praise the Lord” TV program. As a recognized community and civic leader, Pastor Thompson was presented a Key to the City of Boca Raton by the Mayor Steven Abrahms. He also has received a proclamation from U.S. Representative Alcee Hastings and a designation of September 14, 2001 as Billy S. Thompson Day.
